What is the gun that Tallahassee uses in the movie Zombieland? The very 1st one. Not long enough to be a rifle, too long to be a handgun. Any one? :D

Best pic i could find.

Looks like a sawed off 30-30.

I'm gonna have to watch it again. It looked significantly smaller, than a 30-30. The gun he has, doesn't really have a butt to it.

The Mare’s Leg was the name given to a customized shortened rifle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_barreled_rifle) by Steve McQueen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_McQueen)’s character on the television series Wanted: Dead or Alive (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wanted:_Dead_or_Alive_%28TV_series%29) (1958–1961). McQueen’s character was named Josh Randall, and the gun has also been referred to as a Winchester Randall, or a Randall Special.

The original Mare’s Leg was made by cutting down a .44-40 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.44-40_Winchester) caliber Winchester Model 1892 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_Model_1892) rifle to a size that could be worn in a large leg holster and used with one hand. The barrel was cut down to a length of twelve (or possibly nine) inches,[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mare%27s_Leg#cite_note-size-0) and much of the butt-stock was removed. While the guns were chambered for the .44-40 round, McQueen wore more impressive looking .45-70 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.45-70) rounds in the loops of his gun belt.
